You can put the silicone body bottle in the top rack of your dishwasher.

They are designed to not leak.  We guarantee our product and will replace a defective bottle.  We won’t replace anything else in your suitcase. Always use a leak proof bag to be safe.

How do I label my bottles?
Use a black Sharpie and write the content on the collar.

Can I put sterilized fluids in my Tidy Space Products Bottles?
We recommend keeping your sterilized fluids in their original container.

Can I put any fluids in my Tidy Space Products Bottles?
Not all products are compatible with silicone containers. Silicone is one of the best performing materials in commercial use. Food-safe purity among other characteristics make it so. It isn’t perfect, though.

There are thousands of cosmetic and personal care products available today, of which many contain varying amounts of incompatible ingredients to silicone. It would be impractical to test each individual product for compatibility with our silicone bottles, but we do delineate what materials are potentially incompatible. As these issues present themselves, we add to our FAQs what we learn. We have included below ingredients found in many personal care products known to be potentially incompatible, and thus, we recommend an overnight test.

We advise testing a new product by keeping a small amount in a Tidy Space travel bottle overnight. A change in the contents (leaked, dried up, evaporated, etc.) or change in shape and/or discoloration with the bottle will let you know if it’s a good match. We guarantee our product and will replace a bottle due to incompatibility. We won’t replace anything else in your suitcase. Always use a leak proof bag.

Ingredients to test: Alcohols, alcohol analogs, solvents, products containing silicone derivatives (dimethicone or polydimethylsiloxane or other derivatives), salicylic acid,   DEET-based insect repellent, hydrogen peroxide.

Our silicone bottles are FDA approved food grade pure. They are NOT sterile containers. Sterile products and medications should be left in their original containers.

Silicone containers are not meant for harsh or flammable chemicals, such as, bleach, lighting fluids, drain cleaners, hydrochloric acid, etc. These chemicals should remain in their containers the manufacturer packaged them in.

The following products are known to be definite no-no’s:

CHI Silk Infusion
Moroccan Oil products (often contain silicone derivatives such as dimethicone)
Mythic Oil by L’Oréal Professionnel
Argan Oil
OGX Healing + Vitamin E Penetrating Oil
Aquage Silkening Oil Treatment
Kitoko Oil Treatment

Neutrogena eye makeup remover
Oil-of-Olay daily facial moisturizer with SPF 15

We do not recommend putting the following cleansers into our bottles as they have been reported as leaking:
Clarion facial soap
CeraVe foaming facial cleanser.

These are travel bottles, not storage bottles. Thus, we recommend to not leave any fluid in them for long periods of time untouched.

Can I put honey, oil, ketchup, yogurt, etc. in them?
Yes you can. This product is made of food grade silicone and is FDA approved. However, make sure that there are no ingredients in your food that would be incompatible. Do the overnight test.
